Thank you for your interest in British School Dhahran (BSD). We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child. While most students join us at the start of the academic year, children can apply and be accepted for enrolment during the current academic year (space permitting).

All students who wish to join BSD must complete the online application and successfully complete our assessment; places are then offered based on availability.

2021-2022 Academic Year Admission Dates

Main Admissions Timeline

Applications for the academic year 2021-2022 open on December 1, 2020. The deadline for first round applications is February 1, 2021. Once you complete the online application and submit all supporting documents, the admissions office will contact you to schedule an assessment for your child. Assessments will take place in the period between the end of January and the end of February 2021. Offers will be sent to the parents by the beginning of March 2021. Parents have till the end of April to accept the offer and proceed with the enrollment process; this includes paying the seat deposit and submitting the enrollment contract. After that, invoices are prepared based on the method of payment chosen in the enrollment contract. Parents have till the end of June, 2021 to complete the payment according to the method of payment chosen in the enrollment contract.

Rolling Admissions 

The Admissions Office accepts applications throughout the year. Parents completing applications after February will be contacted and communicated individually with assessment and offer details.
