We endeavour to ensure that our students aspire to their fullest potential to become capable of a lifetime of high achievement, driven by integrity, acceptance of others and personal ambition.
At British School Dhahran (BSD), we are incredibly proud of the size and diversity of our community. We currently welcome pupils from over 60 different countries, and a strong partnership between parents, teachers and students is fundamental to our school culture.
British School Dhahran follows the national curriculum for England and delivers externally assessed (I)GCSE and A-level programmes. Students join us from Reception in Primary School through to Year 13 in the Senior School. Our graduating students go on to join some of the best universities and colleges worldwide.
In all year groups, we have experienced and highly qualified teaching staff. In addition we have excellent specialist staff in all subjects including Physical Education, Music, Design Technology, Computing, French, Science, Arabic, Art, Economics and Business Studies. Our extensive campus has excellent physical resources and specialist facilities.
We offer an outstanding after school activities programme and school trips. The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is offered and students regularly participate in Model United Nations (MUN) and BSME games at primary and secondary levels, providing an excellent all round educational experience.
Please note that BSD will be moving to a new, purpose-built campus that is currently under construction. For more information, click here.
