Learning Support
In Primary School only, the Learning Support Department can provide limited academic support to students who require additional intervention. If your child’s class teacher feels that your child would benefit from a supplemental teaching intervention, parents will be contacted and areas of concern will be discussed. On admission, all BSD students are required to access the mainstream curriculum without additional support.
BSD does not have a Special Education Department. Therefore, it does not provide services for students who need considerable academic support.
EAL
BSD is an English speaking school. Therefore, a child who is applying to BSD should be able to access the mainstream curriculum, which will be delivered in English.
