Dear Parents,

We were very glad to welcome our older students back to ISG campuses this week. It has been wonderful to see them getting back into school life with such enthusiasm. Please see a photo collage of them enjoying their activities here.

ISG is looking forward to welcoming all of our younger students back to full-time, in-person learning on Sunday. ISG is fully committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of our student community. We continue to work diligently with the authorities to ensure we are able to react quickly to changing circumstances relating to COVID-19, so that there is minimal disruption to our students’ learning experience.

I would therefore like to take this opportunity to clearly outline our protocols for shifts between in-person and virtual learning for our unvaccinated, lower grade levels, should there be a confirmed COVID case reported within your child’s class.

  • If a class has two confirmed COVID cases within one school week, we will move only that class to virtual learning, for five days.

  • After this period, all students in the class will be required to take a rapid antigen, or PCR test, prior to their return to the classroom. Please note that school principals will issue a communication to affected families prior to student return.

  • If multiple classes within a school are affected, we may be instructed by the authorities to move the site back to full virtual school.

Please be assured that we will do everything we can to keep our schools open. However, I personally appeal to all of you to support us by being extra vigilant with your child(ren). If you suspect they are ill, or exhibit any symptoms, please do not send them to school. If your child should test positive, please report this as soon as possible to your child’s principal and school medical clinic.

I would also ask that all of our families read the updated information provided on the ISG website over the weekend. This is being updated daily with the latest protocols for our classrooms and campuses. If you have any queries concerning on campus arrangements for any grade level, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s principal.

I very much look forward to welcoming all of your children back next week!

Best wishes,

Dr. Michael P. Mack
